Casinos &Players Clubs.
Las Vegas rewards loyalty. Every major casino group runs a free players club — sign up before you play and every dollar earns points toward free rooms, dining credits, show tickets, and more.
Play Smart
Know Before You Play
Las Vegas has more casino square footage than anywhere else on earth — but not all casinos are created equal, and not all loyalty programs are worth your time. The five groups below control the majority of major properties in the valley.
The single best piece of advice for any Vegas visitor: sign up for every players club card before you arrive. They're free, they take five minutes, and they start earning from your very first bet, meal, or hotel night.
Insider Knowledge
Before You Sit Down
Always sign up for the players club before you play — even for a single session. Points accumulate from your first bet.
Insert your card every time you sit at a machine or table. Hosts track your play and comps are based on rated play only.
Video poker returns are significantly better than slots. A full-pay Jacks or Better machine returns 99.5% with perfect strategy.
Craps and blackjack have the best odds on the floor. Avoid keno and the big wheel — the house edge is brutal.
Free drinks are still a thing in Vegas — but only while you're actively playing. Tip your cocktail server $1–2 per drink.
Daytime play often earns more comps per dollar — casinos are less crowded and hosts are more attentive to individual players.
